9:45 AM

Three easy steps...

Commit to be on time.

We meet at 9:45 am on Sunday morning. Plan to be with and stay for worship to enjoy both corporate worship and small group Bible study.

Choose a class.

Pick up a Sunday School directory at our welcome desk in the entry Hall. Choosing a group involves looking for your age group and then finding the right class for you. You can try a different class for several weeks until you find one that best fits your personality

Locate the class.

Use the map located at the back of the Sunday School directory to find your way to the class. Guests are always welcome, and we look forward to meeting you!

Friendship Baptist Church has Bible Study classes for all ages at 9:45 am Sunday School. For more information on the Sunday School classes that we offer contact James Jarrard through the church office.

A church is not a church unless it is personal. Sunday School puts a face and a smile on the church. Attending one of our classes will allow you the opportunity to get to know who Friendship really is. Sunday School is a place to build relationships with others; it is a place to go where you are known, loved and cared for.

WHY SHOULD I JOIN A SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS?

Each Sunday morning, individuals meet in small groups to explore and discover the truths the Bible has for their everyday life. Friendship is a church in both physical size and number, and through Sunday School we demonstrate our personal interest and ministry to each individual. It is the vital link between the church body and the individual. True ministry, support, and spiritual growth are natural by-products of an active Sunday School group. The Purpose of Sunday School is to provide a community of believers who reach out, connect with others, and teach the Bible.

With than in mind, here are some other questions you may have...

Do I have to be in a certain age group to participate in a Sunday School class?

No. Sunday School is available for every age beginning from preschool through senior adults. Fully equipped facilities are available for babies and toddlers. Whether you are married, single, a teenager, a child, or a senior citizen, there is a small group with you in mind.

Do I have to join this church or know about the Bible to visit a group?
NO! Our classes are open to anyone who wishes to attend. If you don't have a Bible, we will provide you with one.

Will I be asked to do anything such as pray or answer questions that I may not know?
We will not ask you personal questions or ask you to do anything that would possibly embarrass you or make you uncomfortable. We do welcome you to join in discussion, if you desire, even on your first visit.

Where can I go for information?
Greeters will be at each entrance on Sunday morning and they will be glad to assist you.

As you can see we believe Sunday School is the lifeblood of the church.
